A lil shop called Rati Rati

Bonjour!

It was a fine sunday when i decided to try a dessert shop called Rati Rati.

It is located in Pantai Indah Kapuk, where u can find so many choices of food from western, indonesian, japanese, chinese, etc.

I could said that i often went to PIK (pantai indah kapuk), bcause its one of the favorite area to eat or even just chilling out with my friends in jakarta.

And im sure enough that even i havent try all the restaurant there, i know almost all the name of the restaurants here.

Then when i know about Rati Rati, i was wondering where in PIK that dessert shop would be at.

After spending some times around PIK and asked some people there, it turns out Rati Rati is located near lekko and kacamata. I used to go there but i just wondered why i never realize it.

Actually, Rati Rati specialize in selling Japanese Roll Cake. Then, from what i found around the shop, i saw some articles about Rati Rati branches in Japan, and the chef (which im not sure whether he is the founder, owner or just the chef that made the rolls) is one of the best chef in Japan.

Anyway, it tasted so good, the cake was really soft and the sweetness of the cream inside the roll was just right. Every time we order 1 roll, we also get 1 scoop ice cream.

The price itself for the rolls start from 27k to 39k for 4cm japanese roll cake. And above 100k for the whole roll cake.

For the macaroons, it sold for 10k per piece.

Besides that, they also sell some drinks like tea, juice and coffee. It was cheap, for the hot or iced teas only for 12k.

Birthday Brunch at Portico

Say hello to a sunny day!

Its kinda reminds me of my birthday brunch which held on february 9th of this year.

Yap, i was officially twenty years old then.

So i want to share about a place that i chose that time.

Back then, i had been planning to celebrate my birthday with my friends.

As we known, 9th of feb 2013 was exactly a day before cny, so some of my friends told me that brunch would be better rather than dinner.

So i spent few days to find a good place through the internet, until i found this restaurant called 'Portico'.

It is located in Senayan City.

After that i made reservation by call.

And when its finally the day, i went there at the afternoon.

The place was very nice and comfortable, the price was also affordable which was around 40-200k for the main course. (P.s : im not really sure about the exact range price but i thought it was around those prices)

The service was also good, and the most important that the food was good!

I rated it 8 out of ten.

And about the photos, there were some of the interior of the restaurant and the food that i ordered. As u can see, that the interior was like surrounded by glass, which that is what i love about brunch time when u could feel the sun goes through the restaurant, but that doesn't mean "hot temperature". Lastly, about the dish name, as i had eaten it in few months ago, what i remembered just word 'angel hair'. If you interested to try it, just ask the waitress or look to the menu and find the word 'angel hair'
